i'm dying to believe, i'm dying to trust. but to say that i do, would be a lie. but to say otherwise, it will still remain a sin. i'm torn, between past and present. what used to be and what is. things are not the same; since when have they been anyway? since when has the same wind brushed upon our faces, since when has the same waves beat against the shore? so, is it the memory that hurts? or is it the fact that i am afraid, that i will never reach the same state of happiness i did before? but really, why does all this matter. i'm still in denial, perhaps for the better.
